Oceanography Badge

To earn the Oceanography badge, you must:

 

1. Write a one page report on the the world's oceans with a paragraph and facts about each.

     Include a map of the oceans with labels.

 

2. Write a one page report on tsunamis and what causes them to happen

 

3. Write a report on surfing- its history,  add some "how-to facts", and make a poster of a famous surfer.

OR

 

 Write a report on one animal in the ocean (dolphin, whale, turtle, shark, etc.)

 

4. You have to make your own home-made saltwater in a bottle that is as thick as the ocean.

 

OR

 

 Make a model of a tsunami, or an ocean animal, or a map of the world's ocean floor.
